POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

 

CHILD PLACEMENT POLICIES

 

1.       A child may only be moved to a lower level if deemed necessary by the Board of Commissioners.

2.       A child may only be moved to a higher level if a parent/legal guardian signs a waiver, which is located at the PCRD office.

 

REGISTRATION PROCEDURES

 

1.       Registration and payment are due on or before the registration deadline.

2.       Adults that coach will receive free registration for the child whose team they are coaching.

3.      Late registrations will be accepted on a first paid basis, depending upon availability.  Registrations will ONLY be accepted for one week following the registration end date. Athletes will not be placed on a team after the late registration period, without the consent of the Board of Commissioners. NO EXCEPTIONS. There will be a $10.00 late fee assessed on all late registrations.

4.       Team registration - when registering for a team sport, the following must be submitted to the Recreation District office:

a.       A completed roster of all team members, including date of birth, grade, and a parent’s signature consenting to participation in the event.

b.      The team league fees and player’s fees must be paid by the last day of registration of that activity.

 

Failure to abide by this policy will result in the removal of your team from the schedule.

 

REGISTRATION POLICIES

 

1.       PCRD reserves the right to change or cancel any program, as necessary.

2.       When you sign a child up for a sport, you are not signing your child up to play on a specific team.  Once your child is placed on a team roster, no changes will be made, unless deemed absolutely necessary. Final decisions are made by the Board of Commissioners (See refund policies).

3.       If your payment is not received within 30 days of a sports deadline collection action may be taken.

 

REFUND POLICIES

 

An 80% refund will be given prior to team placement (less the cost of shirt and hat).  There will be no refund given once your child has been placed on a team. There will be no refunds or exchanges on jerseys purchased from PCRD.

 

SUBSIDIZATION POLICIES

 

Income verification is required on annual bases, and must be resubmitted for the following year every April 15th. You must submit verification at the PCRD office before a child may be registered for a sport. The most recent filed income tax return will be used to determine eligibility.

 

PRE-REGISTER

 

Phone registration is only available if your child already exists in our system.  Subsidized registration is available by internet only if proof of income has already been established for the current year.

 

DISHONORED CHECK

 

There will be a $10.00 service charge on all dishonored checks.  If turned for collections, there will be a $20.00 dishonored check fee. This applies under I.C.28-22-105. You may be liable for damages in an amount equal to $100.00 or triple the amount of the check, whichever, is greater, pursuant to I.C.1-2301A.
