The PCRD youth leagues serves girls and boys in the 1st through 6th grade. Our divisions are split into 1st-2nd grades, 3rd-4th grades, 5th-6th grades. Exception: Baseball and Softball leagues are formed by the age of the child. We guarantee 8 regular season games in various locations including Mesa Park, Fruitland, New Plymouth, Payette, Parma and Weiser. Tackle football varies in game locations due to the size of the league, games could be played in all the towns listed above, plus McCall, Nyssa and Ontario. There are times when teams will play a double header or back-to-back games, it all is dependent upon the amount of teams in each division and gym or field availability.
Once we have reached our registration deadline, we will compile the amount of enrollments in each division by their grade level and school district. We allow parents to move-up their child one grade level and can't enroll your child until a wavier has been returned to the office. Kindergarteners may participate upon a returned waiver. Additionally, It is vital you select the correct school district when enrolling your child. When enrolling your child, you may request a coach, but we can't guarantee these requests will always be granted.
Teams are divided up at our coaches meeting prior to the season, then we deploy the rosters to your team sideline app notifying which team your child is on. We work hard to provide enough coaches (per town, per division, per sport) so that the team roster DOES NOT exceed an unreasonable number, due to our mandatory substitution rule. Coaches will notify you of practice schedules, parent meetings, snack schedules and game days.
Mesa Park Concessions will be open with food and beverages to purchase.
Mesa Park does not allow PETS, SMOKING, VAPING, or ALCOHOL within the park. Signs are posted within the park, under Fruitland city ordinance.
