Payette County Recreation District provides this activity for those who enjoy volleyball and are interested in participating on an organized level. This is a recreational program and good sportsmanship is mandatory from those who participate.
Coed Volleyball League is played with four people on the grass court. Best two out of three sets will be played. Officiate your own games. Games will be played at Fruitland Middle School on Tuesday and Thursday nights. Minimum 4 teams for the league to start.
All fees and official rosters are due at the time of registration
Teams are responsible for the conduct of spectators who are affiliated with their team. Spectators can be ejected from a game using the same suspension rules as above. Spectators asked to leave the park must leave IMMEDIATELY. Failure to do so will result in a forfeit for the team they are affiliated with.
If children are becoming a distraction to the match or causing damage to the facility in any way, the match will be stopped until the situation has been taken care of. It is the team manager’s responsibility to ensure that children will not provide any distractions or abuse of the facility. Teams can be removed from the league if children are not supervised during the game. Payette County Recreation District encourages teams to bring their children to the games but please keep them supervised.
Game officials and or Payette County Recreation District staff have the authority to eject any individual or team from a game or facility. Grounds for ejection include but are not limited to: Displays of unsportsmanlike conduct, derogatory remarks or gestures, threats of violence, acts of violence, other behavior deemed detrimental to the league. Any player that is playing under the influence of alcohol that could cause injury to themselves or others participate in the game will be removed from the game and serve a one game suspension. This will be determined by the judgment of the official, Site Supervisor, and or Payette County Recreation District employee.
National Federation Highschool Rules will apply to the volleyball league except as state below. The Recreation Department reserves the right to adjust or change league rules at any time when deemed necessary.
