2026 Unified Basketball - Winter 2026

PCRD is proud to offer Unified Basketball, free of charge, for children ages 5 and up, in collaboration with Special Olympics Idaho! Unified Sports Teams are made up of athletes (individuals with intellectual disabilities) and Unified partners (individuals without disabilities) who train and compete together. The goal is to promote inclusion, friendship, and teamwork. Unified partners are individuals without disabilities who play alongside athletes as teammates and mentors: these can include siblings, peers, or middle/high school students. 

Practices and games will be shorter, with practices being 1-2 per week at 20 mins, with 30 minute games on Saturdays!

You do not need to be a seasoned coach, just someone who believes in inclusion, teamwork, and giving every child a chance to play and have fun!

• Practices will start the week of December 29th 
• Game Days: Jan. 10th, 17th, 24th, 31st. and Feb. 7th
• Game Locations: New Plymouth Middle School

 Required equipment: Jersey, Non marking court shoes and shorts. Mouth guard (recommended). PARENTS - Game jersey will be handed out by Special Olympics of Idaho prior to first games!

2026 Spring Flag Football - Spring 2026

The purpose and focus of the PCRD youth flag football league is to provide recreational opportunities for boys and girls, 1st thru 6th grades. Coaches are encouraged to develop age-appropriate and fun practice plans, while teaching their players fundamental football skills including stance, footwork, cuts, run patterns, pitch and handoff techniques and passing. League divisions: 1st-2nd, 3rd-4th, 5th-6th. 

• Coaches meeting: March 11th at 5:30pm in the PCRD conference room
• Practices start the week of March 16th, 2026
• Games: Mondays, and Wednesdays.
• Games will start the week of March 30th and will end April 27th

Required equipment: Game Jersey (purchased at PCRD office-$30);

Recommended equipment: football molded cleat shoes and mouth guard.

2026 Spring Soccer - Spring 2026

The PCRD Soccer league provides the opportunity for boys and girls 1st through 6th grade, to play soccer.

• Coach's Meeting: Mar 11th at 7:00pm - PCRD Conference room
• Practices start the week of Mar 16th
• Game Days: Tues, Thurs and Sat (2 games per week)
• Games start Mar 31st and end April 25th

Required Equipment: $30 PCRD Game Jersey. Recommended Equipment: Soccer shoes without a toe cleat, and shin guards

2026 Bobbie Davis Memorial Softball Tournament - Spring 2026

"Shoot for the moon. If you miss, you'll be among the stars." This was one of Bobbie's favorite quote. The Bobbie Davis Memorial Softball Tournament has been set up to fund the Bobbie Davis Scholarship for students who plan on continuing their education after high school. We are now going on 16 years having this tournament at Mesa Park. Registration is now open for the following divisions: 10U, 12U and 14U. Cost is $500 per team. Please register online with payment and roster. May 2, 2026- Pool play will begin Saturday morning at 8 AM. Bracket play will start Saturday afternoon/evening. Bracket play will continue and finish Sunday, May 3, 2026. Contact our office if you have any questions or concerns.

2026 Boys Baseball (ages 6-13) - Summer 2026

The purpose and focus of the PCRD youth Baseball is to provide recreational opportunities for boys. Team goals should strive to improve their baseball skills using positive, fun practice methods while promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, and commitment. Coaches are encouraged to develop age-appropriate and fun practice plans, while teaching their players fundamental baseball skills including throwing and catching the ball, hitting techniques, infield and outfield positions.

Age as of date: May 1st, 2026

• Coaches Meeting: Wednesday, April 22nd at 5:30 pm in the PCRD Conference room
• Practices will start the week of April 27th
• Game days on Monday through Thursday, 2 games per week.
• Games will start the week of May 18th.

Required equipment: Game T-shirt (provided by the coach/PCRD); mitt, athletic cup, baseball molded cleat shoes, and mouth guard is recommended.

2026 Girls Softball (ages 6-14) - Summer 2026

2025 Mesa Invitational Baseball Tournament will be June 5-6. Pool play will start Friday at 8 AM, June 5th. Bracket play will start Friday afternoon/evening. Bracket play will continue and finish Saturday, June 6th. Cost $500 per team. The following divisions are now open for registrations: Minors (10U) and Majors (12U). Games are played on flat grounds (no pitching mounds) 50/70. Please register online with payment and roster. Contact our office if you have any questions or concerns.

16U Softball is allowed two 17 year old players, one 18 year old play. 17 year old's can NOT pitch. 18 year old is not allowed to pitch or play catcher.
